Tell us a bit about yourself—how did you get started in the transportation industry?

 I started in the transportation industry in 2018 with a sedan, working for Uber and Lyft. It didn’t take long before I realized I really enjoyed interacting with customers and driving. I felt like I was meeting interesting people and visiting places that allowed me to get to know the entire city.

What inspired you to start Jorge Limousine Seattle?

When I moved from Orlando, FL to New York, where I began working with a private limo company. There, I discovered another side of the business that I ended up enjoying even more. After years of observing and learning the ins and outs of the industry, I decided it was time to apply all that knowledge and launch my own luxury transportation company.

What makes your company different from other limousine services in Seattle?

 I can say that if you search online for 10 transportation companies, 8 out of 10 are businesses that don’t show who the owner is or who’s behind the company — it’s just a façade of cars and robotic customer service.

What sets me apart from the rest is that I am the face of my own company. People connect with me when they visit my website or social media, and they know exactly who is behind the business. They even get to know the team in charge — who will be picking them up, how many languages we speak (most of us speak 2–3 languages), and our professional appearance, which I’ve noticed is a big plus that makes me stand out from so many other companies.

Not to mention the fact that no matter how busy I am, I’m always the one who handles quotes and speaks directly with clients over the phone to offer exactly what they’re looking for.

What does a “luxury experience” mean to you and your team?

 “Luxury experience” — over the years, I’ve discovered that it’s never really been about the cars. Whether the vehicle is from 2020 or 2025, the client doesn’t really care.

When a customer contacts us for a quote — whether it’s by text, email, or phone call — the first thing they’re looking for is a friendly person, someone who’s genuinely willing to offer a high-quality service. Then, they want the process to be simple — not to be stuck on the phone or computer for 30 minutes trying to make a reservation.

When it comes time to provide the service, maintaining a professional dress code — fully suited — is key. And during the ride, the client wants to feel a natural connection with the driver, someone they can talk to like a friend. That’s how long-term relationships are built — by staying attentive to the client even after the trip is over. Sometimes, just a simple message is enough.

From the moment they request a quote to the end of their journey, we create a true luxury experience for the client.

What do you enjoy most about running a black car service?

 As I mentioned before, I enjoy connecting with people and building lasting relationships. Customer service comes naturally to me — it’s what I love most about this business.

How do you ensure every client has a great experience with your service?

 I was raised with strong family values, and in this industry — especially when providing a luxury service — that’s incredibly important. It allows you to be someone who empathizes with the client, who has the manners to know how to treat them, and the awareness of how and when to communicate with them.

These details, even if they might seem small, make a big difference. And because I’m that kind of person, I strive to bring in the same type of employees to my company — people who understand and share that same approach when dealing with clients.

Which service is most popular among your clients—and why do you think that is?

 We offer a variety of services, with tourism being one of the highlights — including reservations for the tours I offer throughout the city of Seattle, WA.

Hourly bookings and long-distance trips are among the most requested, mainly because they give you the opportunity to truly connect with the client due to the amount of time you spend together.

Basically, you have several hours to show them what you and your company are made of, and what you’re capable of offering.

How do you train your chauffeurs to deliver top-quality service?

 I try to surround myself with people who are on the same wavelength as I am — those who share the same vision and focus. It’s not easy to find that kind of person, but for some reason, this year, individuals with that exact mindset have come into my life and now work with me.

That has helped me continue delivering exceptional service.

What do you think is the future of luxury transportation in cities like Seattle?

 I believe the luxury transportation industry is growing at a very fast pace, and I see a promising future ahead. It’s important to always keep innovating in order to stay ahead and not fall behind.

How has the company grown since it started, and where do you see it going next?

 It has grown in a very positive way, and I see even greater growth coming in the next 1–2 years.

What advice would you give to someone starting their own business in this industry?

Be as original as you can be, because in the world of the transportation industry, there are already many big companies with lots of luxury vehicles. You have to do something different to stand out.
